Asbestos removal

The elimination of asbestos, this insulation material that used to have three roles, (thermal insulator glued to steel, sound damper applied to concrete slabs and fire protector) is not an easy task.
This speciality requires the purchase of specific types of equipment: an electric apparatus such as a negative air pressure system of the HEPA type,power washer, and motorised respirators also called PAPR (powered air purifying respirator) and much more. The equipment targets the elimination of asbestos while protecting the labourers against the high toxicity of this product. Many precautions are set up when undergoing this type of work to avoid any contamination such as putting the work area under a negative pressure to protect adjoining rooms or other levels of a building.
In 1991, a campaign for the removal of asbestos started and grew in size. The work in itself consists in a meticulous and laborious manuel operation where each asbestos parcel is removed successively. Specialised consultants supervise this kind of work.
Isolation Algon 2000 took advantage of this campaign and within a few years has proven and asserted itself as an expert in the removal of asbestos.
Moreover, it has been recently discovered that asbestos can be present in vermiculite manufactured before the year 1984 used to insulate attic spaces in private residences.
